Early - Period - Historical - Vintage clarinet in D (Re). 5 key Early Period Historical Clarinet. Available in 430 and 440. This D Clarinet is reimagining of a George Miller clarinet from 1770, in D, with 5 keys; original of which is with the Bate Collection of Oxford University. It has a much brighter sound, which made it refer to as a Mock trumpet as well, and was used like a trumpet in pieces. It has 8 finger holes and 5 brass keys (register, throat A, Ab/Eb, F#/C#, and E/B) for any music by 18th century composers. Composers: Vivaldi, Telemann, Handel, concerts of Molter, operas of Rameau. The body is made of Indian Cocobolo wood with imitation Ivory rings.
Comes with case, extra set of pads, and accessories.
